The Siddharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Mission Majnu is all set to arrive on Netflix on January 20. Recently, the makers of the upcoming film dropped its trailer. Soon after the Mission Majnu trailer was out on Monday, January 8, fans showered love on the lead pair. Amid this, a bunch of celebs also reacted to the trailer, including Sidharth’s rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani.

Hours after the release of the Mission Majnu trailer, Kiara took to the story section of her verified Insta handle and shared it with her fans. While keeping her post caption less, the actress dropped a bunch of fire emoticons and gave a shout-out to the Sidharth Malhotra starrer.

Reacting to the same, Sidharth re-shared the story on his handle and wrote, “Thank Ki,” followed by a smile emoticon.

It is worth mentioning here that at the trailer launch event, Sidharth was asked “mission for personal life for 2023” amid rumours of his wedding with Kiara. A visibly blushing Sidharth said, “I am a very passionate actor. For me, my personal and professional life are the same. For now, my mission is this (Mission Majnu) for January 20. After that, if we meet, I’ll tell you.”

Speaking of the upcoming film, Sidharth takes on the role of an Indian spy who goes undercover in Pakistan. Shedding some light on the film, Malhotra asserted, “Mission Majnu isn’t entirely an action film, but we do have sequences that are extremely thrilling. It’s a spy thriller first, but our producers, director, and writers tried to keep it a little authentic in the real world, where spies don’t come out all guns blazing. This isn’t James Bond, but there are certain situations in the film where he has to resort to certain action sequences,” at the event.

Helmed by Shantanu Bagchi, it is produced by Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP) Amar Butala and Garima Mehta (Guilty By Association Media). The ensemble star cast of the film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Kumud Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Mir Sarwar.
