Tourism Seychelles at Travel & Adventure Show in New York USA

Tourism Seychelles recently exhibited at the Travel & Adventure Show 2023 edition in the city of New York, USA.

The exhibition took place during January 28 and 29 as Tourism Seychelles intensifies its marketing efforts in the USA post the COVID-19 pandemic for increased arrivals from North America to Seychelles.

For the past 18 years, the Travel & Adventure Show has conducted more than 120 events in the major cities of the United States of America, connecting over 2.5 million travel enthusiasts, with over 4,500 unique travel professionals, facilitating face to face dialogue which has resulted in more than 3 billion dollars in travel bookings worldwide.

Tourism Seychelles Regional Director for Africa & the Americas, David Germain, was present at the Show, together with Senior Marketing Executive Natacha Servina. The Seychelles team at the event also included 2 senior staff members from the Seychelles embassy in New York – Mr. Jeremy Radegone and Veronique Morel – and representing Constance Hotels was Barbara Gajotto, the Sales & Marketing Manager of Seychelles based in Rome, Italy.

“Destination awareness and visibility [are] central to all that we endeavor to do as Tourism Seychelles to grow our country’s market share in North America and on the entire continent,” said Mr. Germain

Tourism Seychelles participated at the Travel and Adventure shows in different cities of the United States before the COVID-19 pandemic and showcased Seychelles to a wide audience of consumers in the USA.

Viewed as one of North Americas largest consumer shows for tourism and leisure, it is the place for holidaymakers to find information and offers about the latest travel trends and new destinations, among others.

“Today, the North American market is amongst the top 10 best performing markets for Seychelles, and the archipelago is more known to the affluent North American travelers.”

Mr. Germain added,  “The current visitor arrival figures from North America confirm that the market is one with great potential for Seychelles.”

Tourism Seychelles will continue to increase its marketing efforts in North America during 2023 with marketing activities in different major US cities during the year.

Flights are available from North America with most major airlines with easy connections to the archipelago either via Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
