Sabre and iCoupon Partner for Flight Disruption Compensation


Sabre – a prominent provider of online flight booking service provider has recently partnered with iCoupon. Sabre is a leading supplier of software and technology solutions for travel industry whereas iCoupon is a leading digital vouchering platform. With Sabre-iCoupon partnership, airlines can turn passenger and staff boarding passes into vouchers that can be immediately redeemed at airport restaurants and retailers.

This collaboration aims to empower Sabre’s airline clients to improve the passenger and crew experience when faced with flight disruptions.

By eliminating the need for physical vouchers, iCoupon provides an eco-friendly solution that enables airlines and ground handlers to issue digital vouchers directly to passengers’ boarding passes in the event of significant delays or disruptions. Passengers can effortlessly redeem these vouchers instantly at any iCoupon-integrated restaurant or retailer using their mobile or printed boarding pass. This solution can also be applied to facilitate staff and crew meal entitlements.
