Besides this, the team also conducted a drive against the use of polythene carry bags and inspected the various shops and other outlets in the different parts of city. During the inspection the team seized the polythene carry bags which were below 50 Microns and also charged Rs. 10600.00 as compounded fee from the defaulters on spot. The team also requested the people to use the bags made of bio-degradable material to carry their goods / articles.
