Nine years of Dulquer Salmaan: Actor shares Kurup poster featuring him and Sunny Wayne with a heartwarming note

Malayalam film star Dulquer Salmaan completes nine years in the film industry today. Over the course of his career he has won many hearts and awards with his stellar performance. Apart from Malayalam, he has also worked in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi language films and also owns a production house.

On completing nine years in the Malayalam film industry, Dulquer took to his social media handle to share a heartwarming post about his journey. “This day 9 years ago our film Second Show released in cinemas. It marked the debut of a whole lot of newcomers including yours truly. Today I embark on a new film. The jitters and fears are still present but time has helped turn that into something positive. This annual reminder from all of you helps keep the memories of how I began fresh and that in turn always makes me realise how I began and where I came from. For that and for your constant support and love, a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he wrote.

“To all of my colleagues and to the various industries it’s a privilege to work alongside all of you in this magical wonderland. Praying for this year to mark some fantastic movies and good health and cheer to all of you,” he added.

Along with the post, DQ also shared a new poster of his upcoming film Kurup featuring him and actor Sunny Wayne, who had also debuted with him in Second Show.

On the work front, Dulquer Salmaan recently wrapped up the shoot of his Tamil film Hey Sinamika. He is looking forward to the release of the film Kurup, which has been delayed by the pandemic. Buzz is that the film will be released in the last week of May.
