On Tuesday, it was announced that Kartik Aaryan starrer Dhamaka will be released on Netflix in summer. The film directed by Ram Madhvani was shot post the lockdown. Hours after the announcement of the release of the film was made, Ram Madhvani praised Kartik Aaryan’s work in the film in a tweet.

Expressing his delight at working with Kartik, Ram Madhvani wrote, “Kartik Aaryan,@TheAaryanKartik, gave his all to my way of working which I call the 360 degree system. His involvement, passion and precise calibration as an actor is something I hugely respect. He makes the work better. It would be great to collaborate with him again.”

The film’s plot unfolds as a news anchor gets stuck in a situation with a mysterious bomb blast. With the series of ups and downs and events that follow, he must make a choice between his future career or the humanist in him.

The film stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead, and Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar and Vishwajeet Pradhan in pivotal roles. Dhamaka is directed by Ram Madhvani and Produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and Ram Madhvani Films in association with Lotte Cultureworks, Globalgate Entertainment & Lionsgate. Dhamaka will premiere exclusively on Netflix across 190 countries.
