The European Union is the first major block of countries to establish a uniformed system to respond to travel regulations during the COVID-19 pendemic.
The EU digital vaccination pass may very well become a global standard.
German Federal Health Minister Jens Spahn announced today at a Federal press conference, that instead of regional regulations a uniformed federal rule is now the law in Germany when it comes to quarantine, tests, and other regulations when entering the country.
Anyone authorized to travel to Germany and who is fully vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 will be able to travel to Germany without fearing the otherwise mandatory quarantine.
Currently, approximately 10% of all Germans had been vaccinated.
A COVID-19 test will no longer be necessary when entering the Federal Republic of Germany as of tomorrow for this group.
This newly expected regulation will be in effect for arrivals from most countries, including the United States or Canada, Australia, but not from India, South Africa, and among some other highly infected countries.
