Goodachari 2 first look event: Adivi Sesh recalls being called Intelligent Khiladi on sets of Major in Himachal Pradesh : Bollywood News

On Monday, January 9, the ambitious project, Goodachari 2, was announced at a grand event in Mumbai. A 50 feet cut-out along with the film’s introductory video was unveiled at a packed venue with an excited audience. During the pre-vision announcement event, Adivi Sesh spoke about the different aspects of the Telugu series and recalled an incident from the sets of Major, which explains the reach of Goodachari.

In a video from the venue, Adivi can be heard saying, “The truth is also that it (Goodachari) is consistently on Hindi channels. As I said that around 11-12 crore people have seen it online, so somewhere that awareness among the audience is there.”

He further added, “For example, when I was shooting for Major in Himachal Pradesh’s Chitkul area, where the population is around 400. There people used to call me Intelligent Khiladi (name of the Hindi dubbed version of Goodachari). That is the level of reach of the film already. Though I have to check how viable it is, the fact of the matter is it has reached.”

While Goodachari was a massive hit down south, owing to its popularity and public demand G2 will be made for a pan-India audience. This time around the sequel will be shot internationally on an elaborate scale including three countries in Europe, one in the Middle East, and on home turf in Delhi, Hyderabad and Pondicherry. The film will pick up where it left off in the Alps, with a slew of new characters joining the existing star cast.

At the event, Adivi Sesh also gave some details about the upcoming project. He asserted, “Goodachari 2 is an epic action film visualised by our brilliant director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. Honestly, we envision this to be massive, fitting for a pan-India audience. The film goes on floors this year and we can’t wait to bring audiences something they will truly remember.”
