The Khan-Akhtar household has been abuzz with celebrations ever since the world welcomed New Year. From celebrating the birthday of Farah Khan to now Farhan Akhtar, the family has kicked started the year on a fun note. While Farhan too welcomed the New Year by taking off to a beachy vacation with his wife Shibani Dandekar and the rest of the family, he is now back in the city to ring in his birthday. Taking to social media, his friend and Bollywood diva Karisma Kapoor gave fans a sneak peek into the birthday celebrations.

Karisma Kapoor took to Instagram to share a story of the entire gang celebrating the birthday of Bollywood actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. Along with him, spotted in the party was his wife and popular host Shibani Dandekar, former actress Amrita Arora, Farhan’s Excel partner and producer Ritesh Sidhwani and his wife, among others. The Zubeidaa actress also added a special birthday wish with balloon emojis for her friend on his special day.

Meanwhile, wife Shibani Dandekar took to Instagram to share a lovely note for Farhan saying, “Happy birthday husband. My best friend, my soul mate, my whole world! You are my everything. Love you more than you will ever know @faroutakhtar ?? This will be your biggest year yet! I see bright shining stars and dreams coming true! Go get everything you want, it is waiting for you and you deserve it. Will be by your side for all of it.”

Not just the wife, but wishes for Akhtar poured in from all quarters, with friends, family, and close ones sharing their special wishes. Owing to the same, Farhan took to Instagram to post a special thank you note to everyone, expressing his gratitude towards fans and friends who wished him on his special day saying, “<3 is full with an overhwhelming feeling of gratitude for all the love and wishes received yesterday. On the work front, Farhan Akhtar was last seen playing the lead in the Bollywood sports drama Toofan which also starred Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady. He also made a special appearance in the American superhero web-series Ms. Marvel.
