Gastronomic experiences from new food markets to three of the World’s 50 Best Bars
Since the travel industry has been rebooted post-pandemic, the city slowly began to reopen, the local government allowed food venues to have outdoor areas on the sidewalks. This trend has continued further in the post-pandemic and has led to the creation of new gastronomic areas that have emerged in different neighbourhoods of the city. In this sense, gastronomy continues to be a “must” for both tourists and residents.

Once with the C40 Sustainability Summit 2022, hosted for the first time in Buenos Aires and Latin America, the city has committed to halving its carbon emissions by 2030 and going fully carbon neutral by 2050.

The brand-new city hall in Buenos Aires, which the American Planning Association named the greatest sustainable building of 2016, is one example of an innovative energy-efficient structure. The British architect Norman Foster created this environmentally friendly structure as part of a neighbourhood revitalization initiative.
