Mohamed Khater joins Abu Dhabi Tourism


A senior leader for Ras Al Khaimah Tourism is now a senior leader for Abu Dhabi Tourism: Mohames Khater

Previously working for the Government of Ras Al Khaimah as head of the emirates tourism board, Mr. Mohamed Khater just joined the Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, UAE in his new position as Unit Head of International Operations, responsible for domestic tourism.

Mohamed is an experienced Tourism Development Expert with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry and international organizations. Skilled in Tourism Development, Hospitality, Destination Promotion & Marketing, Negotiation, Budgeting, Leisure Travel, Sales, B2B Association, and Hotel Management. Strong operations professional with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) focused in Computer Science with Business Administration and Hospitality.

DCT Abu Dhabi states: Through our three key sectors: Tourism, Culture, and National Library, we work extensively to regulate, support, develop, and market Abu Dhabi’s tourism industry through a range of activities aimed at promoting and preserving the emirate’s distinctive heritage and culture.
