HalalBooking and Turkish Airlines Renew Partnership

HalalBooking is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with the Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles program. Both parties signed the partnership agreement during ITB Berlin, the world’s leading tourism trade show.

This announcement follows HalalBooking’s record profits in 2022, with a new company sales record of $52 million for the year, representing 45% year-on-year sales growth, despite challenges and pressures on consumer spending power. In 2023 the company is growing 90%YoY so far and forecasts to reach $100 million for the first time. The company’s target is to become a unicorn in 2026.

Ufuk Seçgin, Chief Marketing Officer of HalalBooking, said: “We are delighted to renew this strategic partnership with Turkish Airlines. After four successful years with very positive results for both companies despite challenging times in the travel industry, we are excited to take this mutually beneficial partnership to the next level. We will continue to provide the best quality service to millions of Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles members interested in discovering the halal-friendly accommodation choices and deals we offer worldwide.”

The strategic partnership sees the two travel companies status matching for their loyalty club premium members, i.e. Turkish Airlines Elite members and HalalBooking Loyalty Club DIAMOND members. All members enjoy exclusive discounts and privileges once they activate their membership. In addition, for every dollar spent on accommodation on HalalBooking.com, they earn lucrative bonus Miles&Smiles Miles that can be redeemed for flights on TurkishAirlines.com.

Turkish Airlines CMO Ahmet Olmuştur said: “We are pleased to have renewed this successful partnership with HalalBooking, who, as a global OTA, complement our offering to our Miles&Smiles members in our tourism and online booking category. Our Miles&Smiles members will continue to benefit from a free status match in the HB Loyalty Club and excellent Miles earning opportunities.”
