The Pridwin Awarded Coveted AAA Four Diamond Rating

The Pridwin has received the coveted AAA Four Diamond designation. This is the first time The Pridwin has attained this prestigious honor.

“We are honored to receive the acclaimed Four Diamond designation from AAA,” said Curtis Bashaw, Founder & Managing Partner of Cape Resorts. “This award reflects the commitment of our staff and management to provide every guest with exceptional hospitality throughout their visit.”

The Pridwin is part of a select group representing the top tier of the hospitality industry in North America. There are roughly 1,700 hotels and 500 restaurants on the AAA Four Diamond list; The Pridwin is one of only three AAA Four Diamond Hotels in the Hamptons.

Hotels at this level, just 7% of the more than 23,000 AAA Diamond lodgings, are noted for their upscale style and amenities enhanced with the right touch of service.

To earn the impressive AAA Four Diamond designation, hotels and restaurants must pass a rigorous evaluation that includes unannounced, in-person visits by AAA’s expert inspectors.

“AAA is pleased to recognize The Pridwin with the Four Diamond designation, meaning its unwavering attention to both service and surroundings have placed it into the upper tier of AAA’s Diamond Program,” said Stacey Barber, executive director, AAA Travel Information & Content. “To maintain the exceptional standards required for this designation on a daily basis is an outstanding achievement. Four Diamond hotels and restaurants are attentive to guests needs and consistently deliver memorable travel and dining experiences.”

The classic American destination resort has been providing hospitality since it opened in 1927, having recently undergone an extensive two-year renovation with Cape Resorts at the helm. The waterfront hotel includes 33 guestrooms and 16 private cottages, where lapping waves of a sandy beach transition to sweeping green lawns speckled with white Adirondack chairs. Guests are greeted by a white-painted wood facade, grand interior spaces, and sweeping water-view verandas. Just a few steps away is an enclave of cottages nestled in the trees.

The sprawling retreat and camp-like atmosphere is enhanced by its plethora of outdoor spaces and activities to fill the long summer days and beyond. A private swimming pool and beach overlook the 120-foot east and west docks, both offering bar and food services. Additional guest activities and rentals include a full spa, onsite restaurant The Terrace, bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, tennis, fishing, and motorized water sports, among other seasonal offerings, like complimentary yoga classes and family-friendly programming. Authentic, whimsical, and almost cinematic in its appeal, The Pridwin sparks pure joy the moment guests arrive.
