Shopkeeper attacked, looted in Gandhi Nagar

Jammu : A shopkeeper was attacked by some robbers at Apsara Road in Gandhi Nagar, who looted Rs 1.5 Lakh(approx.) cash from him last night.
The mishap took place when Vinod Gupta prop. of M/s Fashion Fab(Cantabil) was returning to his home after closing shop at around 9.30 pm. About 2-3 boys, equipped with iron rods intercepted him in a lane, where he parked his vehicle, attacked. They hit him with iron rods and snatched the bag carrying cash around 1.25 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs and then escaped after beating him. The injured was removed to Government Medical College Bakshi Nagar and police was also informed. The police has registered a case and started manhunt for the robbers.
