We are only a few days away from the release of ‘BE (Essential Edition)’. Every day, there’s a new content to look forward to. An ARMY room illustration was created after BTS had shared their versions of their rooms back in November 2020. Kicking off the ARMY room illustration with Suga, it was followed by RM and Jungkook who made some additions to it, and now it’s time for Jimin to add his ideas to the room!
“I think a table is a piece of furniture essential to every room. That’s why I chose a table with a design that would look perfect in ARMY’s room. I gave it one leg in the center to make sure there’s plenty of room for ARMY to gather around and chat. You can sit and sketch or write in your journal for some peace and relaxation. I think everyone needs a space where you don’t need to think too hard and can find a moment of relaxation. I hope that this table will be a gift like that to ARMY,” says Jimin in his voiceover explaining the idea behind adding a table to the illustration of the ARMY room.

“I think a clock is something in your room that you look at very often. Listening to the ticking of the clock when everything is silent is can also bring some calm to your mind. I put a clock set at 6:13 in ARMY’s room so that every time you look at it you’ll think of BTS. The time is always 6:13 on this clock. This room is always ARMY’s room at 6:13,” he adds.
6:13 is very important for BTS – June 13 when they made their much-awaited debut in 2013. Having put a table and a clock as the essential needs in the ARMY room, Jimin wants to convey why is it necessary to have a corner for peacefulness in your rooms. The table signifies a place that is “yours”, where you can be with yourself and find calmness. The clock signifies that no matter wherever they are in the world, BTS will always remain in their hearts! As always, Jimin is an embodiment of comfort when it comes to thinking about fans!
The earlier new content were special voice guide notes of the songs including Suga’s notes for ‘Telepathy‘, RM’s notes for the lead single ‘Life Goes On’, Jungkook’s notes for ‘Stay‘, Jimin’s notes for ‘Dis-ease‘, and V’s notes for ‘Blue & Grey’, J-Hope’s notes for ‘Dis-ease’, Jin’s notes for ‘Stay‘ and BTS’ notes for ‘Fly To The Room’.
‘BE (Essential Edition)’ drops on February 19, 2021, two days before the one year anniversary of their record-breaking full-length album ‘Map Of The Soul: 7‘. The Grammy-nominated group is set to perform a special edition of its MTV Unplugged franchise, MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS. The worldwide music event will build off the iconic series with a fresh new take Tuesday, February 23 at 9 PM ET (February 24, 7:30 am IST) exclusively on MTV in the US and will air around the world beginning February 23.
