Pakistani social media influencer Dananeer Mobeen became an overnight sensation when her video ‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’ went viral and led to a meme fest. The trend became so popular that even Bollywood celebrities could not resist themselves from hopping onto the trend.
Bollywood Hungama recently spoke to the OG Pawri girl Dananeer Mobeen and she reacted to some of Pawri videos made by Bollywood celebrities including Juhi Chawla, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Shahid Kapoor.
Reacting to the video shared by Juhi Chawla including scenes for their popular 90s film Mr. and Mrs Khiladi, Dananeer said, “It was so beautiful to see her hopping on to the trend. She is such a legend.” As for Randeep Hooda who had made the pawri video with a couple of kids, she said, “It’s overwhelming to see. It’s such a wholesome video with the kids and all joining in on the trend.”
Shahid Kapoor had shared a Pawri video which he had created with the team of his upcoming web series being directed by Raj and DK. Reacting to it, the influencer said, “I was hyperventilating when I saw that video. His Chup Chup Ke is one of my most favourite films. I have seen it at least ten times. I can still watch it more than 20 times. I don’t think I can ever get tired of that movie.”
“I teared up a little while watching that video because I have met her in real life. You see people on screen and you go wow and you see people off screen and you give a bigger wow. Like you’re beautiful on screen but how can you be this beautiful inside and out,” Dananeer further said reacting to actress Maheera Khan’s creative video on ‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai’.
Bollywood couple Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh had also created a video on the birthday of the pet dog Flash. “Both of them made a video. Genelia’s video was so sweet. She said about her injury. I think she dislocated her elbow or something. Get well soon to her. The couple is so beautiful. I have also grown up looking and admiring them. Recreating this trend in such a beautiful way. And Flash is so cute,” she said.
Bollywood’s superstars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had also joined the trend. While Ranveer made a video with a fan, Deepika shared a post with her childhood pictures. Reacting to Ranveer’s video, Dananeer said, “I was like this is probably fake right. I was in disbelief when I saw this video. It was unreal. I was blown out of my mind. He is such a legend. Everyone loves him here, especially I. So it was unreal to see his video.” As for Deepika’s post, she said, “The picture of hers is from her childhood with a horse. It is unreal, amazing and mind blowing.”
Finally, reacting to Sidharth Malhotra pawri video, Dananeer said, “He is one of Pakistan’s biggest crushes. Him doing it was crazy.”
