The trailer of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Shaakuntalam was unveiled by the makers on Monday. The mythological romantic drama stars Samantha and Dev Mohan in lead roles. Over the years, the actor has served up numerous statement-making looks that her followers have bookmarked for inspiration and once again Samanatha has made us fall in love with her look at the trailer launch. Samantha looked stunning in a timeless ivory silk organza saree, adorned with broad embroidered border. It is detailed with a cutwork all around and paired with an ivory gajji silk blouse having plunging neckline. Her saree is from the shelves of Devnaagri and is worth Rs.48,500. Sam opted to keep her look fuss-free by skipping on all accessories with the outfit barring a pair of earrings. Textured waves and blush-toned makeup completed the look. Ivory sarees are stunning in and of themselves, but just wait till Samantha Ruth Prabhu adds her own touch.
Meanwhile, In Shaakuntalam, Samantha plays the central character Shakuntala, the daughter of Menaka and Viswamithra. The film produced and directed by Gunasekhar, will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. It will hit the screens worldwide on February 17. This project marks Samantha’s maiden collaboration with Gunasekhar.
