The Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection gets more than attention by the Hon Kenneth Bryan, Minister of Tourism and Transport for Cayman Islands.
The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman was the venue of last year’s Caribbean Tourism Board Meeting. Today, the Cayman Island Ministry of Tourism and Transport and The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman are working in partnership to bring a new level of luxury to the Cayman Islands through the ‘Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’. The agreement will pave the way for the yacht to visit the Cayman Islands, allowing their guests to have a dual land and sea experience, which includes a 2-night stayover on the island.
“I am really excited to be in talks with the Ritz-Carlton to bring this quality cruise product to the Cayman Islands. By enticing ships of this size and caliber to visit our destination, we are demonstrating the type of ‘quality over quantity’ we are working toward harnessing as part of our reimagined cruise strategy,” said Hon. Kenneth Bryan, Minister of Tourism and Transport.
“We look forward to solidifying this partnership with The Ritz-Carlton and will work toward cultivating relationships with other ultra-luxury yacht carriers to develop the Cayman Islands as a part of their route offerings,” the Minister added.
As a precursor to the visit later this year, the ultra-luxurious ‘Evrima’ briefly anchored offshore on Thursday, 2nd February while on its way to its next destination; it was easily visible from The Ritz-Carlton property. The luxury vessel is slated to officially call on the Cayman Islands in December 2023.
