A Kingdom of New Unlimited Possibilities

With Saudi Arabia opening for tourism, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar face stiff and fast developing competition.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a country with unlimited possibilities in so many ways. Travel and Tourism is contributing to this success.

The Four Seasons Hotel is anxious to open its luxury rooms occupying 11 floors in Jeddah Tower starting with floor 144 at the worlds tallest building. With 168 stories this tower will move the show from Burj Khalifa in Dubai to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. However construction is currently on hold due to some challenges about to be resolved.

With 14 additional mega projects in the development, with new amazing tourism projects announced on a daily basis, Saudi residents are opening up to tourism. Many of the strict rules in place not too long ago, are disappearing in Saudi Arabia – step by step.

At the same time the kingdom makes it a priority to preserve cultural and religious values, and welcomes visitors with open arms- and as guests.

Visitors are touched by the Saudi hospitality. Hospitality clearly exceed commercial interests.

Known as one of the safest countries in the tourism world, it’s ok to walk the narrow streets of the souks, visit shops and not buy anything. Tourists won’t be chased by anxious sales people. The Arab Coffee is a symbol of welcoming. Accepting a coffee, doesn’t mean a purchase or tip is expected.

Much of the critical perception in the western world are already history. Most first time visitors arrive with a critical mindset, and leave understanding there is a completely different reality of life.

A new world unfolding in real time. It’s hard to keep up.

Saudi Arabia is a young country with 26.18% of its population under 14 years old, and only 2.6% over 65. Therefore Saudi Arabia’s youth are setting a new trend.

His Excellency Ahmed Al Khateeb, the Saudi Minister of Tourism considers sustainability, climate change and new developments as a top priority in building this sector.

The Saudi Tourism Ministry has supported many initiatives that are taken place also in other countries without being mentioned. There is a different type and more humbled global leadership emerging in Riyadh.

Saudi Arabia is spending big money to attract brands, or hire the best consultants.

Saudi Arabia is a journey through time. From the past into the future, like being on a supersonic plane. Mega projects create a better future for generations to come.

The interesting part is that sustainable development, environment, climate change and tourism work in harmony. With the best minds working for the kingdom the country contributes to a solution.

The global travel and tourism industry is slowly getting the picture. Whenever Saudi Arabia attends a trade show or an event anywhere in the world, they manage to be the shining star. Money well spend!
