Hotel Zelos Partners with Celebrity Chef Kathy Fang

The ‘Suite Escape’ package includes a one-night stay at Hotel Zelos in a spacious Deluxe Suite featuring 4th Street or courtyard views and a separate parlor with sitting area. Guests will experience dinner for two at her restaurant Fang including a meet and greet with Kathy where she will custom curate a multi-course menu based on culinary tastes and preferences. Guests will also receive a $50 Uber gift card for transportation to and from the restaurant. The ‘Suite Escape’ package is available on select dates in June and July.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Kathy Fang grew up in the kitchen of her family’s now famed restaurant, House of Nanking, before opening Fang with her father in 2009 as co-owner and chef. She began blending her family’s Cantonese heritage and cooking style with her own inspiration that grew from her perspective as a native San Franciscan, her global travels, and her formal training at the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School. At Fang, Kathy offers a modern twist to Cantonese fare and an exceptional dining experience for her guests.

Leading up to the premiere of “Chef Dynasty: House of Fang,” Fang appeared on a number of Food Network shows including “Beat Bobby Flay,” “Cutthroat Kitchen,” “Guy’s Grocery Games,” and is a two-time “CHOPPED” champion. She’s a returning guest on NBC’s TODAY Show and has been a guest judge on Alex vs America in 2022. In 2020, Fang published “Easy Asian” cookbook and started selling her restaurants’ famous hot sauces in the midst of the global pandemic as a way to bring Asian cooking into the home kitchen.
