The Inaugural session for the 4th Tourism Working Group Meeting under the G20 hwas osted by the Ministry of Tourism was held at Goa today.
Green tourism, skills tourism, destination management, and digitalization were the four key deliverables discussed at the G20 Tourism Working Group meetings in Goa, India.
The outcome will be the Goa roadmap for tourism.
Hosted by India, the meeting is attended by tourism leaders from many parts of the world, including UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili and WTTC CEO Julia Simpson, among dignitaries including the Chief Minister of Goa.
Even the former PATA CEO Liz Origuera was seen with WTTC CEO Julia Simpson as one team.

The chief minister said, that Goa, being the first state in India to receive the global Safe Travel stamp from the WTTC, was committed to reinventing its tourism sector after the COVID pandemic in a more responsible manner.
The World Travel and Tourism Council, India Initiative (WTTCII), was launched in February 2000 to raise awareness about the role travel and tourism play in the development and growth of the economy in the country.
The Goa chief minister said good governance was the cornerstone of a prosperous nation, and ”India has demonstrated its unwavering commitment to effective governance through strong leadership and visionary policies”.
