Canada Jetlines has announced the appointment of Charles McKee as the leader of the company’s commercial activities, starting from June 28, 2023. Mr. McKee brings extensive executive experience. He has worked in multiple sectors of the travel industry. These include travel technology, airlines, hotels, and national destination marketing. He has held significant roles in chief marketing and revenue positions throughout his career.
In his most recent corporate assignment at Sabre Corporation, Mr. McKee held the position of SVP, Commercial Products. He led a global team responsible for solution design and management. The team focused on revenue optimization and pricing, network planning, data and analytics, and low-cost carrier reservation platform products. Their clientele consisted of top airlines and agencies worldwide.
Mr. McKee will take over as the lead of Canada Jetlines’ commercial department. The Company’s existing Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Duncan Bureau, will be departing the Company to pursue other opportunities. Mr. Bureau assisted the Company with its start-up and the launch of several commercial systems and integration into distribution platforms. The Company would like to thank Mr. Bureau for his contributions to the Company and wishes him well in his next endeavors.
