Jammu : For the first time, the National Investigating Agency (NIA) conducted raid in Jammu to unearth the nexus of hawala funding to separatists, Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and others to fuel militancy and unrest in the State. NIA Team on Sunday conducted simultaneous raids at residence and office premises of Davinder Singh at Bakshi Nagar Jammu. Davinder Singh is President of Jammu and Kashmir Peace Forum. The NIA teams landed at his house at Bakshi Nagar and scrutinized documents, bank accounts, lockers and cash etc. The searches took place in the presence of family members of Singh. However, no one was arrested during the raids, sources said but the NIA managed to lay hands on certain vital documents, which they took with them to New Delhi in the evening.
