Jammu : Power Development Department issued a power curtailment schedule for Wednesday. Schedule said that to carry out emergency work of rectification of hot spots, burnt out jumpers, droppers, clamps and checking of oil leakages of 400 MVA transformer bank at Grid Station Gladni, the power supply to Grid Station, Sidhra and K.T. line fed from 220/132/33 KV, 400 MVA Single Phase Auto Transformer Bank at Grid Station Gladni shall remain affected on August 2 from 5 am to 8 am. However, to carry out the work for connecting of new 33/11 KV line out way at Kullian by M/s EMC Ltd, the power supply to Kullian, Sumbal feeding from 1×6.3 MVA Receiving Station Kullian fed from 33/11 KV Receiving Station Kullian (R.S. Pura) shall remain affected on August 2 from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Meanwhile to carry out various development works by M/s IRCON International Ltd under R-APDRP scheme, the power supply to Sohanjna, Mandal, Filan, Kandwal, Surya Chak, Ganeshpur and adjoining areas fed from 33 KV Canal to Chatha Line shall remain affected on August 3 and 5 from 7 am to 12 noon.
