Indian Army gunned down 7 Pak Rangers

Jammu : Seven Pakistani Rangers were killed on Monday by Indian security forces in retaliatory firing along Line of Control (LoC) in Kotli sector of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
“Indian Army carries out retaliatory action against Pakistan, killing 7 soldiers and injuring 4 others in forward areas along LoC in J-K’s Poonch district,” Army said in a statement. This is very big achievement for Security forces. Also earlier in the day 6 Jaish Militamts were also killed.
Whereas Pakistani media said that four Pakistan Army soldiers were killed by shelling across the Line of Control in Jandrot sector of Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PaK) on Monday. Quoting a statement of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), report said that the soldiers were busy with maintenance of a communication line when they were “fired upon and hit by heavy mortar round.”
Earlier Indian Army also claimed to have foiled an infiltration bid in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district by killing five militants. An army spokesman said that an infiltration bid was foiled by the “alert soldiers” near LoC in Uri.(Agencies)
