Recently there were reports that The Kapil Sharma Show would be going off air. The show will be going off air by February end. However, it will be only a short break.
On Thursday, Kapil Sharma held a AskKapil session on Twitter and answered as many questions from his fans as possible. One fan asked him why he was taking the show off air. Responding to the question, the comedian for the first time spoke about welcoming his second child. “Bcoz I need be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby,” he said.

While there have been reports of Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni Chathrath expecting their second child, it is the first time that the comedian has spoken about it himself.
Kapil and Ginni got married in 2018 and welcomed their first child–Anayra- in December 2019.
