This is the first time in all of the previous seasons that a contestant entered the show just to help a friend out. Aly Goni made an entry on the show mid-season to help out Jasmin Bhasin who he claims as his best friend. Soon enough, the couple admitted to harbouring feelings for each other. When Aly first entered on the show, he ensured to keep Jasmin Bhasin calm during difficult situations.
As the show progressed, Aly Goni showed tremendous growth in terms of his performance. The heartbreaking elimination where Aly was eliminated, left Jasmin Bhasin and their fans shocked. Even host Salman Khan couldn’t keep his tears at bay. However, on his return, Aly Goni came back stronger as ever and there was no looking back. When host Salman Khan said a contestant has been eliminated from the show, Aly Goni’s name was announced and it left Nikki Tamboli in tears.
