Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel and Spa in Ibiza will reopen for the 2023 season on March 3rd.

Atzaró Agroturismo Hotel and Spa is the most prestigious rural hotel in Ibiza and one of the island’s leading luxury sustainable stays. Every part of the experience is nature-connected, from the rustic bedrooms with gardens, pools and terraces, to the garden-terrace restaurants, the spa amongst the orange groves and the manicured or farm gardens. 2023 sees the connection to the land, the estate’s history and understanding come to the for, with sustainabilty woven through every part of the experience. Ibiza is aiming to become one of the first circular sustainable destinations in the world and as one of the most authentically rooted businesses on the island, Atzaró is moving forward with this generations-known philosophy.

The hotel’s self-sufficient initiatives this year see estate-bottled filtered water from the well available for guests in the bedrooms and still or sparkling available in the restaurants and spa. The hotel’s own luxury electric saloon cars are to be available for hire and for airport transfers whilst and the electricity supply for the hotel comes from the two hundred solar panels adjacent to the Atzaró Vegetable Garden.

These new initiatives bolster the hotel’s move towards being fully self-sufficient, minimising its impact on the environment.

In recent years Atzaró has completely redefined the luxury rural hotel category with its high level of service, innovative spa, signature pared-back interior style and expansive gardens, so that guests can immerse themselves in a totally nature-connected stay.
Located in the centre-north of the island, the hotel is perfectly situated amongst rolling green and abundant countryside, ideal for beautiful nature walks to discover the secrets of the island or electric bike rides on hidden trails.

Sat on a vast 13-hectare estate of fragrant orange groves, tropical palms, manicured Mediterranean gardens, and an abundant three-hectare organic vegetable garden, Atzaró originally opened in 2004 as one of the first Agroturismo hotels in Ibiza. The site of a 300-year-old finca, the hotel launched to rapturous acclaim and since then has become a firm favourite of visitors including Kate Hudson, Rihanna, Chiara Ferragni and the Fendi family amongst others.

The hotel also plays host to the wonderful Atzaró Vegetable Garden which supplies the organic fruit and vegetables for the hotel’s farm-to-fork needs. The 3 hectares of fertile land are watered by the estate’s natural well and farmed daily by the garden’s team for freshly harvested organic produce.

One of the jewel’s in Atzaró’s crown is its world-famous Spa, which is also open to day visitors with pre booking. The spa garden includes an outdoor jacuzzi, sauna pod, fire-pit lounge area for meditation and healing workshops, sunbathing decks and ice bath under the orange trees and an abundance of daybeds lapped by organically grown botanicals.

Relax on giant outdoor four-poster daybeds amongst fragrant herbs, pop over to the 43-metre fresh-water pool for a refreshing dip or simply drift away.

The whole area sits beautifully amongst lavender, rosemary, aloe vera, mint and orange groves, just some of the ingredients for the organic Atzaró Spa products. The spa building welcomes you into the sauna, hammam, new gym and treatment rooms. Rambling gardens, spa bar, lounges, yoga pavilion and famous Atzaró daybeds set the scene for a unique and relaxing experience.

You will sleep well in one of the 24 luxuriously understated bedrooms, all set apart from each other to allow privacy and space, most with terraces, gardens and some with private pools. The design concept is ‘natural luxury’, featuring rustic local woods, four poster beds, Ibiza whites, touches of gold, materials and fabrics locally crafted. The concept has been created by the group’s interior design company, Atzaró Design, to work in harmony with the surrounding natural environment.

There are two spacious restaurants ‘The Orange Tree’ and the ‘La Veranda’ which serve delicious, healthy and seasonal ‘farm-to-fork’ food. One, a vast romantic courtyard beneath a lamp-strewn pergola, palms and stars for the summer dinner location and the other a lawn-framed terrace and inner-finca restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner in spring and autumn.
