13th India Intl. Hotel Travel & Tourism Research Conference


Chandiwala institute in Delhi today, April 4, 2023, has attracted a galaxy of speakers from India and abroad.

But what has perhaps attracted maximum attention is technology and food revolution, with Dr. Shikha Nehrus Sharma calling for adopting a holistic and sustainable approach, which is at the heart of the food revolution, entailing research so that food waste is avoided. She quoted data to point out that sustainable agriculture practices provided valuable perspective on the future of food and the role of technology in shaping it.

Gurav Shah spoke of the importance of technology in hotels giving figures to prove his well-researched address. He discussed how automation will help hotels keep up with the times, adding that sustainable technology will play a significant role in the coming years.

Some of the scholars and delegates questioned what will happen to jobs. Dr. Madhuri Sawant spoke on creative tourism and research. Tourists should be connected with local culture, she said, adding that there is a need to link technology with tourism products.
