Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Partners with PortMiami

Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) – the trade association that represents the mutual interests of destinations and stakeholders throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America, and Mexico, along with Member Lines that operate over 90 percent of the global cruising capacity – is pleased to announce that it has partnered with PortMiami – the ‘Cruise Capital of the World’ – on a strategic program that will target FCCA’s channels and resources to focus on further strengthening PortMiami’s long-term goals.

“We deeply appreciate our partnership with the Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association,” said Hydi Webb, PortMiami Director and CEO. “As we continue to expand our operations and partnerships, we look forward to cruise activity growth which will benefit all of our industry colleagues.”

“PortMiami has been one of our longest-standing partners, and we are humbled by their continued confidence,” said Michele Paige, CEO, FCCA. “Like PortMiami, we at FCCA constantly work to adapt our approach for our partners, and we are excited to chart the course for growth together.”

The partnership agreement will promote PortMiami through a multifaceted approach, including coverage in all FCCA publications such as the official magazine of the cruise industry produced and distributed in partnership between FCCA and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), Travel & Cruise; spotlights in a weekly e-mail newsletter sent to tens of thousands industry professionals; and a campaign to feature PortMiami throughout FCCA’s social media channels.

Additionally, the agreement will utilize FCCA’s Operations Committee comprised of high-level cruise executives representing FCCA’s 23 Member Lines, with PortMiami to be featured in the workbooks and have opportunities to meet with the executives on PortMiami’s agenda of long-term strategic goals, including the launch of a NetZero program.
