We are only a few days away from the release of ‘BE (Essential Edition)’. The septet has been releasing new content every day since the month began. Kicking off the ARMY room illustration with Suga, followed by the group’s leader RM who made some addition to it, and it’s time for Jungkook to add his ideas to the room!
“Do you remember how ‘Jungkook’s room’ was filled with all kinds of speakers? I thought ARMY’s room definitely needs a set of speakers to give the best music we can. A speaker can fill the whole room with music. It can even amplify your emotions. Why don’t you listen to music with this kind of speaker and really get in touch with your emotions? A cheerful song can make you even happier, or when you are feeling down you can choose a bring the up-tempo song to send those blues away or maybe go for a darker and slower song to face those emotions head on. What song is playing on these speakers in your imagination?” says Jungkook in his voiceover.

He further adds, “When we have spent some much time in our rooms these days, things can start feeling boring and repetitive. So I thought I’d put a fish bowl in ARMY’s room. A spread of pebbles or a few strands of ocean plants can really change how a fish bowl feels. I thought you could have fun in your room decorating your fish bowl however you like it. I also brought a feisty little friend, quiet but always on the move. Think of this friend as me. Talk, feed, care for and cherish this friend, who thrives on your love.”
Back in November 2020 ahead of the ‘BE’ release, each member released intriguing concept pictures depicting their personalities through it. Adding speakers and a fish bowl in the ARMY room, he wants to add more energy and liveliness to it! Finding solace in something is so important and for Jungkook – it’s music and performing! It’s the same way he wants ARMY to have that kind of peacefulness and comfort at a time when life has become monotonous as we stay indoors more!
The earlier new content were special voice guide notes of the songs including Suga’s notes for ‘Telepathy‘, RM’s notes for the lead single ‘Life Goes On’, Jungkook’s notes for ‘Stay‘, Jimin’s notes for ‘Dis-ease‘, and V’s notes for ‘Blue & Grey’, J-Hope’s notes for ‘Dis-ease’, Jin’s notes for ‘Stay‘ and BTS’ notes for ‘Fly To The Room’.
‘BE (Essential Edition)’ drops on February 19, 2021, two days before the one year anniversary of their record-breaking full-length album ‘Map Of The Soul: 7‘. The Grammy-nominated group is set to perform a special edition of its MTV Unplugged franchise, MTV Unplugged Presents: BTS. The worldwide music event will build off the iconic series with a fresh new take Tuesday, February 23 at 9 PM ET (February 24, 7:30 am IST) exclusively on MTV in the US and will air around the world beginning February 23.
